The Apostle Paul envisioned a mission blueprint that was intricate yet profoundly harmonious: many gifts originate from one Holy Spirit, and diverse kinds of services are offered by the same Lord. God orchestrates various works in unity according to His will for the benefit of humanity. This vision is evident in our fourth season of service. Over the past three months, the Lord has enabled Praxis to connect various institutions and churches, both locally in Hong Kong and internationally. The synergy created through these collaborations affirms the truth of the scriptures: we are not alone; we are brothers and sisters in the body of Christ, working together to create goodness.

1. Innovative thinking meets mission blueprint

On October 10 and December 12, Praxis Church Network had the privilege of hosting Professor Erwin Huang and Dr. Ben Wong. They shared insights on artificial intelligence, community service, and the Church’s mission blueprint. The Church seeks to release resources to foster new opportunities and establish diverse faith communities beyond its walls. These two lectures inspired a wealth of new ideas, encouraging today’s parishes to engage meaningfully with the current generation.

3. When Praxis meets a BREAKTHROUGH

We work closely with BREAKTHROUGH. The Praxis outing in October took place at the Breakthrough Youth Village, where seniors radiated youthful energy, engaging in play, enjoying meals, and singing together. It was a joyful day for everyone involved. In November, staff and volunteers participated in the "Breakthrough Inner Challenge," which included a seven-kilometer hike. This experience encouraged us to reflect on the meaning of "caring for one another as we walk together in perseverance."  In December, BREAKTHROUGH arranged for several students from Shau Kei Wan East Government Secondary School to observe a day of our work, allowing them to learn more about Praxis and the community we serve.

    

4. When San Francisco meets Sendai City

In early November, Pastor Allen visited local Chinese churches in San Francisco, USA, alongside Global Trust Partners (GTP). He held two lectures entitled "Why Community Matters to Me?" to discuss how GTP supports church governance, policies, and structures, and to share the work of Praxis in the community. Later that month, Praxis, along with volunteer chefs from Blessed to Share1, traveled to Sendai City to prepare a feast for underprivileged individuals. During this trip, we had the opportunity to learn about the community services provided by Praise Community Church (PCC) and Operation Blessing Japan (OBJ), fostering mutual understanding and collaboration.

使徒保羅看見一幅不簡單的使命藍圖，就是眾多恩賜是源於一位聖靈，許多種事奉也是事奉同一位主。上主令不同的工作同步按祂的旨意成全，叫人得益處，這是我們在第四季服侍的看見。這三個月，上主讓油踐扣連不同機構及堂會，不論香港與海外，產生的協同效應見証著上述經文的實在，令我們不感到孤單，在基督身體互為手足，彼此協作，共創美善。

1. 當創新思維遇上使命藍圖

佐鄰油里教牧群組分別在10/10及12/12邀請到黃岳永教授及王緯彬博士分享人工智能與社區服侍，及教會使命藍圖——堂會釋放資源去締造更多可能性，在堂會以外建構不同類型的信仰群體。兩次講座也帶動不少新思維去刺激現今堂會如何回應這世代。

3. 當油踐遇上突破

我們與突破機構合作無間。10月份的油踐大旅行在突破青年村舉行，長者們在那裏充滿青年的力量，玩得食得又唱得，大家享受美好的一天。11月同工及義工被邀請參加「突破逆旅先鋒」，挑戰七公里山路旅程，細味「在乎同行，在乎堅持」的意思。12月突破機構安排了幾位筲箕灣東官立中學的同學來體驗我們一天的工作，讓同學更多認識油踐與社區。

    

4. 當三蕃市遇上仙台市

11月初Allen Sir受邀隨Global Trust Partners（GTP）到美國三藩市探訪當地華人教會，並舉行了兩場「社區關我教會事」講座，分享GTP如何協助教會的治理及健康制度及架構外，也分享油踐在社區的工作。11月尾油踐與有福共享 的義廚們一起到仙台市製作盛宴款待當地基層人士，也認識Praise Community Church及Operation Blessing Japan的社區服侍，難得機會彼此認識及交流。
